ER49-1 is a kind of gas shielded copper-coated carbon steel welding wire, which can be protected by CO2 or argon rich gas body.
Performance advantages:

At the same time, it has good anti-porosity performance, has a certain tolerance for impurities such as oil, rust, etc. on the welding environment and the surface of the parent material, and can effectively prevent the formation of pores in the weld.
Good mechanical properties: The tensile strength of the deposited metal is ≥490MPa, the yield strength is ≥372MPa, the elongation is ≥20%, and the room temperature impact absorption energy is ≥47J. It has high strength, plasticity and toughness, and can meet the welding requirements of most low-carbon steel and low-alloy steel structures.
Excellent crack resistance: Due to its reasonable design of chemical composition and good mechanical properties, ER49-1 gas shielded welding wire can effectively resist the generation of cracks during welding, especially when welding thick plates or structures subjected to greater stress, it shows good crack resistance.
