ER70S-G is a general-purpose gas shielded welding wire, widely used in the welding of low carbon steel and low alloy steel.
1. Chemical composition
Carbon (C): ≤0.07%
Manganese (Mn): 1.00-1.50%
Silicon (Si): 0.40-0.80%
Sulfur (S): ≤0.025%
Phosphorus (P): ≤0.025%
Other elements: may contain a small amount of nickel (Ni), chromium (Cr), molybdenum (Mo), etc. to improve welding performance.
2. Mechanical properties
Tensile strength: ≥500 MPa
Yield strength: ≥420 MPa
Elongation: ≥22%
Impact toughness: excellent, suitable for dynamic load environment.
