ER308 and ER308L are two commonly used austenitic stainless steel welding wires, both used for welding 304/304L stainless steel and low carbon steel, but they differ in carbon content, corrosion resistance and applicable scenarios.
Core difference: ER308L has a lower carbon content (ultra-low carbon design), which significantly reduces the risk of intergranular corrosion.
